Brittany views herself as a guide, walking alongside her clients to help them discover their own inner strength so they can overcome challenges they may be facing. Her laid back demeanor and calming presence provides a safe space so her clients can feel empowered without judgement. Brittany believes in the importance of building a strong relationship with each client in efforts to build trust, gain self-awareness, and ultimately create positive change. She also believes there is healing in laughter and utilizes humor in her approach.
Brittany strives to collaborate with her clients as every person is individually unique. Her diverse approach utilizes a variety of methods that focus on clients thoughts, behaviors, and strengths in order to create a tailored approach towards growth.Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Benedictine University. During her undergraduate years at Benedictine, Brittany was a collegiate softball player and later went on to serve the team as an Assistant Coach. She is well versed in working with teens, adults, couples, and families managing all types of stresses, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, identity struggles, and self-harm.
