Georgann Grecco, NCC, LCPC
Georgann Grecco is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. Georgann obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling, from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. She approaches counseling from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective. She believes in empowering individuals to create positive change. Georgann provides a trusting and accepting therapeutic environment. She believes that individuals are experts on their own lives, and therefore sees the therapeutic relationship as one of collaboration.
Georgann has experience working with children, teens and adolescents. She specializes in issues such as school stress, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm and depression, and works with topics such as faith and spirituality. She also brings nine years experience teaching middle school, and has worked as an executive functioning skills coach, assisting students with learning disabilities and ADHD.
