Talvir’s professional interests and clinical experience focus on working with children, adolescents, families, and adults struggling with substance abuse, relationship issues, work-life balance, stress, anxiety, depression, mood management, cultural identity issues, life transitions, and self-esteem.
Talvir is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. She uses an integrative approach that includes: strengths-based, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and behavioral interventions to assist her clients develop a stronger and more positive self-concept. She has experience working in both inpatient and residential settings with adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse and anxiety/OCD.
Talvir strives to create a warm, non-judgmental environment in which clients feel understood and comfortable exploring issues, while cultivating self-awareness and coping skills as they work towards creating positive changes.
