Stephen Sewruk, MS

Stephen’s ongoing goal as a clinician is to support our future generation by guiding them toward a meaningful life and simultaneously building a bridge between mental health and athletics. Stephen encourages athletes to pursue a healthy relationship with their sport and instills hope among adolescents and young adults by providing them a safe space to explore and connect strongly with themselves.

Stephen is also passionate in working with adolescents and young adults in topics including (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, identity struggles, and sport performance while helping clients gain self-awareness and produce positive change by understanding thoughts and behaviors. Stephen prioritizes the relationship he creates with clients by building trust and providing support in each client’s journey with a diverse and calm approach while utilizing humor in the healing process.

Stephen earned his Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University in 2025 where he also played baseball for 5 seasons. He has also completed all academic and clinical training requirements for licensure and is enthusiastic about working closely with the community. Stephen’s background in athletics allows for a diverse approach while having a deeper understanding of the struggles that athletes may experience.
