CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST OR POST DOCTORAL CANDIDATE 

Naperville Counseling Center is looking to fill a part time position for a Licensed Psychologist or a Post Doctoral Candidate in the private practice setting. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional practice.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide psychological evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and/or family therapy to assigned clients.
  • Provide case management services to clients as needed or assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress.
  • Assist clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Networking and marketing to gain referral sources to build a caseload.
  • Office hours are flexible and are based around your availability to your clients.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and managing your caseload.
  • Must be able to provide psychological testing/evaluations/assessments.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.
  • Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Education: Must either have a Psy. D. with your current license in the state of Illinois, or be a Post Doctoral Candidate working towards licensure. For Post Doc candidates supervision will be assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Required experience:

  • Clinical experience working with the adult population: 1 year

Required license or certification:
